FIBER
Rebirth to Life
and Reexistence
Polat Corporation is a pioneer in the production of high-quality fibers by mechanically recycling pre-consumer textile waste. Initially, fabric edges and scraps collected from garment cutting rooms are sourced domestically and internationally and brought to our facility. The incoming scraps are classified into “cotton,” “cotton/polyester,” and “Lycra” based on their cotton content. Subsequently, they are sorted by color and subjected to cutting and opening processes. The cut scraps are processed in fiber opening machines, and their fiber length and fineness are tested in the quality control laboratory to produce high-standard recycled fibers.
